When placing orders for your customers please remember to use your information as the billing and your customer's information for the shipping. Now that your a member of DROP SHIP LENGTHS you should have been emailed your access information to our members-only website for Dropship Lengths. Please DO NOT give your access information out to anyone! This is very important to your membership with us.
Remember this is your hair company so you will need to price your bundles and hair according to your liking and local competition. Any sales or giveaways is up to you.
INSTRUCTIONS TO DROP SHIPPING
Your customers will place orders with you. You will set the pricing and come up with your own name. You can either sell word of mouth or set up your own website or sale platforms. We will offer website building in the future.
Go to https://www.dropshiplengths.com/and create your account. This way you can monitor all your sales. Before you can place any items into your cart you will need to put in your access code.
Now that your customer ordered from you, you will then place the exact same order with us using our “MEMBERSHIP ONLY” page. https://www.dropshiplengths.com/ Please make sure to place all orders through this website because it is set up with accurate pricing for dropshipping. When placing an order for your customer add your info in the billing address (always) and your customer's info into the shipping address. PLEASE DO NOT EVER PUT YOUR CUSTOMERS BILLING INFO INTO THE BILLING SECTION THIS SHOULD ALWAYS BE YOUR INFORMATION IN THE BILLING SECTION AND YOUR CUSTOMERS INFO WILL GO INTO THE SHIPPING ADDRESS. We are not taking direct payments from your customers we take them from you. Your orders will come from DropShip Lengths. Please do not let your customers know we are your vendors or they will shop directly with us. Keep this information discreet. We also will keep your information private and secure.
In the notes please make sure to add your company’s name this is very important because we need to know how to package your hair.
If you are using one of our packagings please make sure to select the packaging you want for this shipment at the time of checkout. If you do not pick packaging with your orders we will use generic stickers with no special packaging.
If you have your own labels and packaging you can send it to us and we will pack all your orders with your own private labels. If you want to use our packaging but want to use your own hair cards and information then please send it to us and we will pack it with selected packaging of your choice.
Please make sure to keep up with your membership. If membership is not current we will not send out your packages until payment is updated.
Your customers will receive their hair within 3-5 business days. If you're having a sale it can take up to 7 business days max. Specialty orders can take an additional 2 days such as wigs and clip-ins. If you have a strict time frame on the specialty items please let us know and we can see if they can be rushed. This depends on stock.
You are responsible for all customer service concerns for your customer. On the other hand, we are responsible for all your concerns. You can request a call back from us if you need it by emailing us. Please do not give your customers our contact information. You want to keep that info discreet because they will see our prices and also you don’t want them to know we are your vendor.
CHARGEBACKS and FRAUDULENT ORDERS
Unfortunately everyone is not honest. We want to be the first to tell you to be careful with all your orders. If your not sure about a particular order DO NOT SEND IT
We suggest you to only place orders that come to you with the same billing and shipping address. If the billing and shipping address does not match we suggest you ask for proof of the credit card and license or come up with some kind of security check system you are comfortable with. The reason we suggest you see a copy of the credit card and the ID is that if someone steals someone's credit card information then it’s a great chance they will not have the card and Id in hand.
Orders that are placed to go to one state and billing is another state. Different names and fraudulent characteristics you need to be very careful of these. We suggest making sure this is not fraudulent. Some are honest but a lot of them are not.
Large orders you should be very concerned with and also long bundle lengths. These are some characteristics of fraudulent orders. We basically want to say just be very careful because there are a lot of Dishonest people out here and we would hate for you to learn the hard way as we did.
Chargebacks are a headache and no one likes them. Being very careful about whom you send the orders to this will cut down fraud a lot but will not completely get rid of it. You may have some that will fall through the cracks. Unfortunately chargebacks for fraudulent orders will come back to you so please be as careful as possible because this will not make you happy. We are not responsible for any chargeback claims due to fraudulent orders.
A signature request will be placed on all of your orders. The customer will have to sign for it no matter what the value is.
There are different types of customers you need to watch out for. Some customers are used to trying to beat the system and get things for free. We see this all the time. You will have customers try to see what they can get for free. They may say they didn’t receive their orders although they show signed for it. It does not happen much but it does happen. If a customer says they did not get their package the police will then be involved and a case is opened with the carrier.
PayPal Payments we love and so should too. Make sure your shipping to the verified address that PayPal has and you will qualify for PayPal protection. They have their own checks. If your sending to another address other than what PayPal has verified they will not offer payment protection for that order.
This is the headache part of your business. The good outweighs the bad so stay positive and just look out for the bad guys.
COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMERS
No matter how great your hair is that your selling you will receive some complaints. This is based on that customer's experience with their hair, personality, how they took care of it, if they know how to take care of extensions, the type of hair they have - curly vs straight, etc. , new kind of pattern they are trying, bleaching the hair, watching youtube to try new ideas, DIY ideas, understanding how to take care of curly hair vs another pattern, products they use, bleaching their knots, cutting their wefts, washing and conditioning their hair and overall understanding their hair and the maintenance required for the hair. These different subject matters will play an impact on their overall experience. All hair companies will have complaints no matter how big or small the name of the company is and once again this depends on the customer experience that doesn’t mean the hair was faulty.
ABOUT THE HAIR YOUR SELLING
We use 2 main vendors for our hair. One we use for Specialty hair such as Mink hair, Peruvian, Malaysian and Eurasian hair, and the other is used for our Brazil and Indian hair. Both of our vendors have been in business for almost 30 years each. We have tested almost 200 companies and we settled with these 2 because we have the least amount of complaints from customers. We hardly ever receive bad batches but we do have a series of questions we ask to understand the customer concerns and needs to address their issues. Most of the time we can give tips to the customer on how to maintain their extensions and everything works out just fine.
Hair is collected all over the world from our vendors. We sell human hair and the patterns are added to the textures. We sell 5 patterns for now which are STRAIGHT, DEEP WAVE, LOOSE WAVE, BODY WAVE, AND CURLY. The cuticles are aligned 100% in the same direction and double wefted. The hair does not come from a single donor and we don’t believe we will ever offer that. Single donors may be ideal but if you need 3 bundles of hair and there are 3 donors the hair is still mixed so this is why we do not say, single donors.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CERTAIN TEXTURES
BRAZIL HAIR- is more natural to most customers' hair. It blends very well and very soft. You have customers that are not familiar to Mink Brazil and they like what they like. Some will just only wear Brazil. The hair will last 1- 1 &½ year. We have thousands of customers who have this hair more than 3 years ( please do not tell your customers it will last this long but it’s good to know with proper care it can last even longer than expected!) Each bundle is 3.5 to 3.7 oz.
MINK BRAZIL HAIR - (not the animal) AND PERUVIAN, MALAYSIAN, EURASIAN these types of hair textures are thicker, more luscious, exotic-looking, shiny, darker in color and very durable when it comes to bleaching. If you want that photoshoot ready hair then Mink is what you want. This hair is expected to last 1-2 years with proper care. Each bundle is 3.5 to 3.7 oz.
HOW MANY BUNDLES SHOULD YOU
This will determine your customer needs. Each customer is different with their opinions of a lot of hair or a little hair. A natural look will be 3 bundles. Customers who want extreme hair will get 4-5 bundles and this also will depend on the length of the hair.
Bobs will most of the time just need 2 - 3 bundles they are thicker bundles and long options may need more bundles for fullness because the longer the bundle is the thinner it gets to keep within the weight of 3.5 to 3.7 oz.
You will just have to talk to your customer and understand his or her needs for the style they are going for.
The following instructions are for Curly, Deep Wave, and Loose wave patterns.
Wash or co-wash hair.
Condition while using a paddle brush starting from ends upwards
Rinse and let air dry
If the customer has a sew-in they can use a spray bottle with warm water and conditioner to wet the hair. Use a paddle brush or wig brushing direction from bottom to top. Squeeze dry with a cotton t-shirt (a trick to help get rid of frizzy hair) let air dry. TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS DO NOT FINGER THROUGH THE HAIR DURING THE DAY OR IT WILL CAUSE THE HAIR TO PUFF AND FRIZZ!!!
If they made it into a wig they can completely submerge the hair underwater and condition using the paddle brush to comb through. Rinse, squeeze dry, and hang up to air dry. Shake in the morning and it’s gorgeous! DO NOT FINGER THROUGH THE HAIR THIS WILL DISTORT THE CURLS AND MAKE HAIR FRIZZY

These patterns can be co-washed, conditioned, and styled as desired. We always suggest using a heat protectant.
